In 1995 Catering by Gail catered a Carnival theme
reception at Edmonton City Hall for 1000 people for Alberta
Urban Municipalities Association.
Using props like blue speckled dinnerware, table decorations with gingham
linens, an antique popcorn cart and staff costumes in striped
vests, black bow ties & carnival hats the Carnival concept
came to life.
The Carnival menu featured:
European Wieners with whole wheat & deli

BBQ'd on a natural wood burning barbeque (shaped like a pig)
Alberta barbeque on a bun shaved beef & buffalo
Served on old fashioned crusty rolls
Crocks of Sauerkraut/old fashioned mustard/ketchup/horseradish

Homebaked sourdough bread
Aged Cheddar cheese served on an antique cheese box
Mountain of curd (variation of cheddar)

Gail's homemade jarred dills served as an
accompaniment for the above
